Students past & present

I am continually amazed at the work my pastel students produce. Lilian painted her beautiful Kitty Bella, and as it was her birthday, we all shared yummy treats! Continuing the feline theme, Inga produced her first kitty in pastel below:

Next to Inga, Lynette is working on a rocky beach down the south coast. More kitties, but much bigger, from Suzann below:

It’s a fantastic work in progress and we can’t wait to see the finished results.

Sandy has almost finished her second pastel painting of the local Mindarie beach. She’s been a quick study!

Heather is just about there with her ocean and dune piece – some foliage work in the foreground and she’s done:

Thea finished her Darwin beach sunset and went straight on with her Daintree rainforest piece.

And Jen, next to Lil below, has started a very intricate rhino painting.

You may recall a past student of mine, Ann, from previous posts. She held her very first studio exhibition today.

She had many beautiful works on display, including this sold piece below, which was based on a post/photos I wrote about Mullaloo Beach (click here to see the photo inspiration behind her painting).

Thank you to Ann who allowed us a glimpse into her studio and exhibition. And well done to all my students who put passion, patience and perserverance into their pieces – don’t ever stop painting!
