Red Carpet night
It’s been the week of exhibition Opening Nights for me, not an easy thing in the heart of winter. At the most recent we were told to “Walk the Red Carpet” – cheesy, but it did help to make us feel special.
Even more special was the feeling my piece is to have a new home.
That’s the overall winner on the far right (sorry, can’t remember any names), but it is a hauntingly beautiful piece.
The collection of work in this exhibition is absolutely stunning. If you get a chance, get along before it closes. Details in my post here.

I hadn’t realized that your new work was already on exhibition! Congrats, the read carpet treatment might have felt cheesy but it is well deserved! The overall winner I’m sure is captivating, but my eye and preference is still the vibrancy and movement of yours in that photo, excellent job my girl, excellent job!
It looks like a stunning exhbition Cindy and your artwork looks fabulous up there. I do hope you get some sales out of it and lots of exposure!!!
Gee Cindy you must have been under pressure to get that piece finished and ready for the exhibition, you no sooner finished it and it was out there! I will have to get that list off you, will sms you with my home address.
Thanks for stopping by girls!
Yes, all the pressure of deadlines/new style etc was worth it when we arrived at Opening Night and I saw that it had already sold.
The problem I have is keeping up with all future deadlines! Pre-dawn starts and more coffee is the answer I suspect…..
Such beautiful paintings Cindy! Great to see another aussie on Watercolour Wednesdays…
WOW. Classy. How wonderful scary and exciting
Totally drawn to your painting on the left… Phenominal job!
