There’s painting, and there’s painting

Bright and early I had an army of painters in to repair the damage from that Hail Storm.

Whilst in my studio (above), the Painters commented on my paintings. I replied that we’re all painters here, it’s only the size of our brushes that sets our work apart!

Tonight was opening night of an exhibition presided over by the Mayor.

And a lovely little Red Dot greeted me when I walked through the door. It’s been a painting kinda day…

An artist and a fantastic photographer, too! The photos of the Pacifiic gulls are amazing. I have tried and tried to take similar photos and I am so impressed wth your dead on focus and beautiful stop motion shots! Your artwork is stunning, too.

Hi everyone, thanks for your kind words.

Karen, it’s certainly a start, i know of some poor souls who haven’t even had any permission to go ahead with anything and are living in stinky wet carpet homes!

Diane, thanks for recommending I visit Michelle’s lovely blog, and here she is!

Michelle, keep on keeing on with the photos. I find the trick is have a camera with batteries charged, ready to go at all times.

Congrats on the art exhibit! Looks like you’ve got your hands full with the repairs to your house, nice wall color you’ve chosen.

Sharon, they were great guys, very professional. I didn’t choose the wall colours - legacy of the previous owners. I’m thinking of going warm white with the walls - I need as much light as I can get for my own painting (eyes aren’t what they used to be…)

Elizabeth - I’m just “lucky” with the weather hey?
