Go West!

As lovely as it was, FNQ or TNQ (depending on whose marketing campaign you subscribe to), was not meant to be our permanent home. It was a great rollicking adventure to say the least, but we are settled back in our old home in the bottom LH corner of Aus again. After the bath warm waters of the Coral Sea, the frigid waves of the Indian Ocean were certainly invigorating!

So much has changed in the 19 months we were away - a whole new slew of suburbs have sprung up, new boardwalks, new faces everywhere. And joy of joys, two new art supply stores are practically on my doorstep.

Dinner on the new Boardwalk (and spankin’ new drawbridge) was lovely. The sun was setting on the horizon and a twilight sea kayak group were on their way out of the Marina.

Here’s to all New Adventures!

(Footnote: Here’s a challenge for you all - Canetoads are now several ‘000s of kms away - any suggestions for a new title at the top?)

Great to see you back online Cindy. I’d been wondering what happened to you.
Was it always the plan to return to the west or did you just get fed up with the cane toads, floods and whatever else?
Must be great to be able to renew all your old acquaintances etc.
Will check back here soon - just a brief note tonite - just got back from a gig and I’m stuffed. Off to bed.
    Nighty night.

    Hi guys,

    Great to be back.

Fran, still pondering a title - too much coffee at the moment, trying to get a lot done and I’m buzzing with caffeine.

Tim, WONDERFUL to see that you’re still out at gigs - writing anything musically?

    G’day,
There’s an old saying, home is where you’re known(or something like that). I took a few day’s off work and visited an old watering hole and after 3 years I still knew half of the people there.
I’ve never been to FNQ or WA, so can’t say much about that.
    I’m not blogging now.

i am soooo relieved that you are well! no matter where you are now :-)
to be honest: i don’t have the faintest idea, but it should be somewhere
    in australia *lol*

hej: how about joining a moleskine exchange group of really interesting
people? just drop me a line :-) i’d very much love to have you in the boat!
it’ll be easy going, stress free and it’s a loose group of people mainly from
europe, but you’d be a wonderful asset *g*

    *hugs*

Hi Cindy, I’ve made a move to near Coffs Harbour. We’re not sure if we’ll stay or what but new adventures are certainly on the cards! Nice to see you’re sort of back online :)
