Not to panic, we have food arriving by sea and air. Plus, the chemist has a Darral Lea chocolate stand!

Everything appears to be covered in mud though….

Things are certainly grim if the chocolate isle is running out….Boy I hope you guys don`t see the other two cyclones…You`ve had a rough trott…..

Now I know why I continue to stock my cupboards with enough food for a few months at sea! The shelves here are not quite so bad, but getting that way. Hope you get some essential supplies through soon.

Bet they don’t mention chocolate in the Cyclone help sheets….

Given that its Easter at the supermarkets – you may have to start on the Lindt bunnies…..funniest thing today – a little girl (not mine) banging two Lindt bunnies together…sacrilige (sorry bout spelling you get what I mean)

While we melt here (and so does our chocolate), I can only imagine how much worse it would be being flooded out – its very sad watching the news, seeing the clean ups trying to start….I can now see why houses are on stilts…..

Then there is the snow overseas……

Goodness me!
No vegetables and fruit – that’s bad…but no chocolate…now that would be terrible. Hope they get some to you soon. Also hope that the next two cyclones that are on their way turn out to be nothing much.

Hey Elizabeth,

I wanted to photograph everything (or really the lack of everything) in the store, but was with The Man, who was getting mighty embarrassed with me flashing everywhere. Other shoppers were also rather curious, and I didn’t want staff to have to tell me to “cease & desist”.

The ground is like porridge at the moment – so squishy when you walk on it, feels like quicksand (even with a lawn on top!)

I hope your brother copes without his bike! I think that is the only way he would be able to get home though.

Congrats on the postcard order – now get to work! But don’t forget to show us!

Hey Cindy I have been trying to diet and every time I hear of your supplies, lack of, I go and buy a chocolate just in case we get some rain and I am stranded on the mountain.

Have a good weekend and do not get too wet…wow it sure is raining. Last I heard of my brother he left his bike in Townsville and was flying to Karumba…..I thought he had gotten through in between rivers up and down but not so….

A bit scary those aisles being so empty…you did not show the chocolate aisle..was that in case a panic buying attack happened and a run on chocolate….

I have a postcard order and am supposed to be doing that and instead doing everything but, mucking about on the Internet….discipline discipline is what I need.
