He is taking after mum with his artistic creations. I’m experiencing computer problems but its Big Pond’s problem. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. It seems OK at the moment. The excuse is the storms.

Margie, you know I had almost forgotten the traumatic time that was the Apricot Tree Massacre. Trust you to remember!

I bet the jacarandas are spectacular at the moment, epecially around Applecross.

Hi Yevisha,

Being a school assignment, it was left till the last minute as usual, so we used some organic type hair dye. You could use normal hair dye too I suppose. I had the squeezy bottle already, and it was quite useful for the intricate patterns.

The fingers had the dye on for roughly 30mins, the rest maybe around 15 mins.

If you do have a go, I ‘d love to see the results!

Hey Cindy - love the art work. Best bet to stay away from Schoolies at any time. Rotto is getting ready for their usual run of crazy schoolies. Hope all is well. Looking forward to your next installment. I laughed at the lychee story - kinda reminds me of an apricot story…

it looks great. was it actual henna or a dye? i noticed it was in a squeezy bottle. how long did they leave it on before rinsing off? i’d love to have a go.

Uh oh… the entire class will now have Jez creating body art…Mrs Lane your son has put a tat on my darlings pristine skin…. long explanations…” is only henna”…”are you sure”??

Forget painting for profit take Jez to Schoolies this week at the Gold Coast…30,000 plus teenagers having a beach party…..seriously I think that type of body art would go like wildfire

The dye will get darker if you rub vicks vapor rub into the skin afterwards.
