Oh you are all so wonderful and patient!

I am so sorry not to be here more often - I am counting down the minutes until Uni finishes and I have TIME!

I have just a couple more paintings to get done and then I'M FINISHED for a while.

I have heeded all your advice and encouragement, and vow to be :

1. more organised.
2. more meticulous
3. less stressed

Of course it means that I'll have to work one-handed now as I'll be holding a glass of wine in the other!

Cheers,

airbrush desasters - please accept my sympathies ... have experienced such things quite often and since then i have made it a point to clean the gun meticulously after using it (i have a small ultrasonic cleaning container normally used for jewellery or by the ophtalmic guys), so this is dead-easy. i once cleaned a very old, completely mucked-up gun in that ultrasonic container within no time by using piping hot water plus some drops of dishwashing liquid and after half an hour the thing was sparkling again. after cleaning the gun, blotting may always be possible and you'll need some dummy exercises before starting to work with it again on proper material. the problem with airbrush is that you have to really take care of the equipment after use and this can be an awesome exercise if you've finally finished your day's work - but it's really relaxing if you do it accompanied by a glass of wine *g*

Sometimes, I say sometimes, the cold coloured drinks dont actually work (speaking from experience - the frozen daquiri on Green Island left me with multiple brain freezes). Had a huge hangover last weekend....not advisable when caring for a 7yo....

Anyways.....sorry to hear about your bad day...what I hate is wasting time, sounds like you had to endure a lot of that......

Lauren and I are off to meet a new member of the family - a little dog - and then out for dinner and chasing the sunset (with camera in hand!) (while trying to keep her from getting to salty/wet...its HOT here today....33 first one of the season...

Maybe a wine when we get home.....it was the culprit last weekend.....

Cheers......

Love the bumble bee showing his bum. And the little white sparkles on the blossom, just lovely.
Sorry to hear you sound stressed., have a red wine or two. Although I read the other day that red wine is good for your heart but shrinks your brain. What a dilema! We were discussing at work about things that make us mad. Someone said "coathangers' 'cos they're always getting tangled up when trying to pull one out of the cupboard. It's "hoses" with me. They always leak on me or the end explodes off and I get drenched or it gets tangled around rocks or trees and wont budge and it will never roll up again without getting twisted the wrong way. Now we can add airbrushes to the list.

Cindy,
The pink is serene. The airbrush disaster would be frustrating and then.... the dog chasing the cockies...too much in one day...have one of those cold coloured drinks I often see pictured on your site...and remember this is the madness season in the north so keep your cool...the rains are only a breath away....aaah the relief... but I would like to tag along with your night photography....Sounds interesting. Report report.

Kind regards,
