They grow like weeds here. I put my hand down to touch one in his front garden and the bloody monster of a goanna was under there (well over 1 metre). Scared the cr*p outa me! What gorgeous plants....I do love the bromeliads, they grow well in shade....Have been meaning to get myself a couple of these plants....They are always spoken about on Better Homes and Gardens....
