Tropical visitors
The Art Room has been transformed into the Music Room.
Row upon row of gorgeous xylophones, symbols, tambourines and maracas.
What a job of setting up that was! The music teacher (standing on a ladder) was frantically writing out sheet music on the white board. That’s dedication.
Tomorrow the board will be wiped clean, and the room filled with the smell of turps and oil paints.
We have more lovely visitors escaping the winter chills down south.
Granma & Granpa enjoying a cuddle on the Palm Cove jetty today.

Don`t grandma and grandpa look lovely……We have had plenty of rain over the past week…Finally a few days respite and the sun should come beaming through…..Sounds like the perfect opportunity to get out in the garden…
I remember playing the xylonphone at school…Compulsary back in those days….I really think they should bring back music as a subject in schools…It gives kids variety….
Well hope you have a great weekend Cindy….I`m sure looking forward to it….
Hi Mandy,
Thanks for visiting.
Would you believe that it’s starting to spit? Whilst we have the Adelaidians up here on holidays?
Hubby’s birthday tomorrow - 21 again. Most likely going to Port Douglas.
Bad, sad week for our animals in the family. Paralysis tick got all of them - 2 survived.
yes us Adelaidians do love to share in the weather…lol….
Hope hubby has a lovely birthday….21 seems to be a very popular age …lol
Sorry to hear about your pets….Luckily we don`t have too much of a problem here with ticks…..
The ticks were something I never dreamed could be so devastating. We found our Little Cat dead today. We all thought that the python next door had got her.
The other cat and dog spent 3 days in the hosiptal, and are still a little wobbly. Got them back last night.
We’re all so heartbroken.
