Kim’s in Cairns

Kim (Hosky from Bigblog) is here in Cairns with her family.

Celebrations began with cocktails down at the harbour.

Kim was delightful. It was like catching up with an old friend.

After pre dinner cocktails, it was on to the Esplanade to dine at Rattle & Hum.

Hopefully we’ll see her and her family again this week. More food, more cocktails!

    Hi, I hope Kim and her family are enjoying themselves.
    JMBD Margaret is in Cairns too at the moment.
    I’ve never been up that far north, I’ve been to Townsville in the 70’s.

    Hi Cindy,
    If I had a cool drink now it would turn to a block of ice before it hit my lips. One degree this morning and icy cold with a sneaky breeze with bite. Good to see bloggers socializing in the flesh so as to speak. Just goes to show that what you see on the blogs is what you get contrary to a lot of suspicious people who think everyone on this medium are not who they portray themselves to be and you two certainly come across as warm and human which you obviously are.

    I did read somewhere that Margaret from Tasmania is in the area as well.

    Enjoy the balmy breezes and the cooooool long drinks!!!

    Adelaide today - Hail, 12 deg. Cairns, 28 deg!

    It’s been overcast for a few days, but I’ve had enugh sunshine for now - I got sunburnt on Sat.

    Well look at you two sipping away on your cocktails….Sooooo jealous…..lol…..

    I think it`s great that bloggers can catch up and meet….I`ve been lucky enough to meet a few myself and it puts a totally different perspective on the friendship….

    Hope Kim is behaving herself…hahahaha
