He did confess that he celebrated his "big number" birthday recently, and after a lengthy holiday in the UK and Europe (with miserable weather), he caught up with colleagues who had all retired and were pursuing long delayed passions. He thought it was the right time to do so too. He will be still working 2 days per week, but at the hopistal - his own practice will be disolved. Only severe patients will get his attention now. So It's good that I don't have to see him, but sad too. Yes, I think he looks young as he is young at heart. Don't get me wrong, I know they do many years of uni and deserve all they get. It might be just as much fun making the fly's as using them, or it is a good exuse to get away from it all for a while.
