Purpose
In the pre-dawn light I followed the flight of this bee, who with a single mindedness of purpose, gathered pollen from the waterlillies. No other bees about, just herself and her determination.

G’day,
Thought I’d come and have another look at your site. I liked the Kingfisher painting.
Some water lillies close up at night, good photo.
Just bee-ing a bee I guess. More importantly what are you doing up before dawn? Oh that’s right I keep forgetting - you don’t have to worry about frosts etc. up there do you?
Hi guys,
Thanks for stopping by.
Doug, I was waiting pateintly for the sun to come up so the lily would really glow in the early low light, but as luck would have it, as soon as it got a few inches above the horizon, a big cloud bank rolled in front of it.
Tim, Oh Bee-have! I was taking some photos of the course, and as direct overhead sunlight is boring (long shadows in glowing light much more interesting visually), I needed an early start.
Frost is that icy stuff right?
What a lovely picture! The water lily is beautiful.
