Diane, There is sno prize, just a motivation to actually "get orf your bum and put pen to paper", or any other media, including digital, for the nominated theme of the week. Here's how the Good People over at Illustration Friday promote it: Illustration Friday is a weekly creative outlet/participatory art exhibit for illustrators and artists of all skill levels. It was designed to challenge participants creatively. We believe that every person has a little creative bone in their body. Illustration Friday just gives a no-pressure, fun excuse to use it. No clients looking for a particular thing. No one judging the outcome of the work. It's a chance to experiment and explore and play with visual art. So welcome, novices and pros alike. Lots of people from all over the world participate - it's a wonderful thing. Tim, it's funny, but the artist I am training with this week believes it comes down to Sperm! I am so jealous - I've never had any freestyle talent. My father is quite a good artist but I obviously didn't get any of those genes.
